    See when you say things like "microbacteria" in the wrong context you make it clear you don't really understand what you're saying and are just reading other people's words.

    • @LetsVegAboutIt777
      @LetsVegAboutIt777 Год назад

      Well, I'm all about learning JT. 👍🏼 And I appreciate you pointing it out. Could you explain it? My understanding is that bacteria exists in the gut flora which helps improve our health. English is my second language and I do sometimes misspeak and sometimes interchange words accidentally. But I am of the belief that we are never to be too proud to be corrected as life is all about learning and growing. ❤

    • @JT-qz4to
      @JT-qz4to Год назад

      @@LetsVegAboutIt777 Here's a few things. 1) Petty sounding, but "Microbacteria" refers to a specific genus (family) of bacteria. It's not an interchangeable word. 2) While probiotics can be helpful for some people, particularly after antibiotics or a run of diarrhea, in the vast majority of people they have no effect beyond placebo. 3) Most probiotic products should be evaluated with caution. They usually contain a single or few strains of fairly useless bacteria. It's like "fixing" an ecosystem by just dumping in 500 dairy cows and calling it good. 4) The gut biome is made of thousands of different strains, many of which we haven't even studied individually yet. We don't know the significance of the balance and how individualized it is. Anyone telling you otherwise is being dishonest. We are just scratching the surface of OBSERVING it, we don't understand how to affect it very accurately yet. If you want to really get on something life changing, the vast majority of Western diets are deficient in fiber, which has long proven benefits in cancer risk, quality of life, even cholesterol control.

      @@JT-qz4to , 1) I appreciate your thorough response and am thankful for you. 2) I find that texting often doesn't convey one's tone, but for you to imply that I'm being petty is rude. I was being genuine in asking you to clarify because I'm not a microbiologist. I've heard people talk about benefits of probiotics and since it deals with improving lifestyle, I felt that was valuable information for my audience. I do appreciate your time that you took because it does show that you have much knowledge in that area more than I do, so thank you. 👍🏼 I believe in treating everyone with respect and being considerate even if I am wrong. I will be the first person to acknowledge my short comings because I'm an imperfect human being. I accept that. But I hope you can learn not to judge people who genuinely desire good interactions 😉 I hope you have a wonderful day. 💕 Again, I do thank you. I hope you can believe that. 👍🏼

      @@LetsVegAboutIt777 "Petty sounding" was referring to the clarification regarding "Microbacteria" As in I am acknowledging that it may seem petty for me to focus on the misuse of the word, but I assure it is for good reason. It was not in any way accusing you of being petty.

    • @JT-qz4to
      @JT-qz4to Год назад

      @@LetsVegAboutIt777 And I apologize for coming off rudely in my initial reply, probiotics are a topic I'm quite particular about and most are not as thoughtful as you are. If you'd believe it, I am a trained microbiologist turned physician who just so happens to have a chronic autoimmune digestive disease (sounds ridiculous of a coincidence, I know). I have seen many people taken advantage of by the supplement industry selling probiotics by glossing over how little we know and using vague suggestions of their benefit.

    I want to know about bone health Are raw vegans more prone to getting osteoporosis that's what I wonder

    • @LetsVegAboutIt777
      @LetsVegAboutIt777 Год назад

      Great question, based on many of the doctors & scientists and researchers I have listened (Dr. Cambell, Dr. Bernard, Dr. Vieth just to name a few), they have stated that those who eat a plant based diet are less likely to get osteoporosis. There is research that high meat and high consumption of dairy increases the risk of osteoporosis, as meat is extremely acidic, and for the body to be able to deal with the acidity, the calcium is pulled from the bone, which thus weakens it. I do not believe that the research I have read, deal with specifically raw vegans, but vegans in general and plant based diets. Although, I can not imagine that it would cause it because of what I personally understand regarding gut health, and nutrition - eating high fiber, nutrient dense and antioxidant rich foods would prevent illness than cause it. Raw vegans have to consume a lot of variety of food and some of which may not grow in their country, which is why I say it may not be sustainable. I did not say it isn't possible, but if you look at many of the raw activists out there, they do import a lot of their food, which you have to think about cost, and ethical harvest practices etc. But that is beside the point. I hope I was able to answer your question. My suggestion is any research that you study, should be checked - meaning who is backing the study? Cause if it isn't an independent research, generally, they are biased with the results. Which is why we have so many conflicting information out there.

      @@LetsVegAboutIt777 thank you for answering my question so then plant foods can help with bone health and strength? Which plant foods would be the best for helping bones get stronger? • @LetsVegAboutIt777
      @LetsVegAboutIt777 Год назад

      @@daysoftheboo Well, I'm not a nutritionist or dietician, but one of the big things I would consider is making sure that your gut flora is very diverse as it helps in many anti-inflammatory health issues. The best way to create osteo-blasts that come from your bone marrow, is to actually challenge your muscles/bones by heavy lifting. I do not suggest, as a personal trainer, that you start lifting 80% then what you are able. Taper your progress. Start with low weights, then gradually increase them each week. The more you increase the weight, the more it challenges your muscles and the better it will improve your bone health. This does not apply to those with aggressive osteoporosis. However, it does wonders for those with early onset weak bones. Hope this helps. Sorry for the delayed response. :)

      @@LetsVegAboutIt777 thank you ❤️🙏🏻❤️ yes this does help so much! I appreciate it so much ❤️ the good thing is I have been strength training but the bad thing is I'm not very strong I just recently got a barbell but the most I can squat is 23 lb, the most I can deadlift is 35 lb Biceps curls all I can do is 5 lb , overhead press and lateral dumbbell raises are very very weak that's all I can do right now is lightweights but I worry that if I'm not able to lift heavy will my bones not get enough stimulant to create bone density? I do want to progress and get stronger put on some exercises like the back exercises I'm having a hard time making mind and muscle connection and my triceps too but mainly my most important areas would be my femurs hip bone and spine, those are the bones that I want to strengthen the most because I've been told that those are the most dangerous bones to fracture, will my bones still benefit if all I can do is lights strength training until I get stronger?

    • @LetsVegAboutIt777
      @LetsVegAboutIt777 Год назад

      @@daysoftheboo Yes, your body will definitely get strongwr even if you start with light weights. It is all about progressive load. The more repetition, the more mind and muscle connections happen. It takes time. If you're interested in having a personal trainer give you a workout program, you are welcome to email me at letsvegaboutit@gmail.com to get a program. You would get access to my VegFitWarrior App that would put you through a program and help you build muscles that you need. 👍🏼 However, if that doesn't work for you, there are plenty of great workout programs out there that you can tweek for your specific needs. Or pay a trainer for session to give you a full consultation and a program that you can do on your own. You're paying for the valuable information that can help you progress in your goals. This can be very helpful in any area. 👍🏼 Also there are great books too on strength training, but like they say, "Swallow the fruit and spit out the seeds". If it doesn't apply to you, you don't have to adhere to it. 👍🏼 Hope this helps.

Thank you for doing all that you do.🙏 One tip I have might be to seek out support from all generations - including elders. They have provided me with a looonger term perspective that helped me feel a deep calm…and even feel some compassion for the abuser (while not taking anymore of their bs, of course).

    • @LetsVegAboutIt777
      @LetsVegAboutIt777 Год назад

      Kimmy, thank you for your response. I am glad to hear that my message has resonated with your heart. I am complete agreement with you - "Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety." - Proverbs 11:14 KJV. In many of my trials I often go both to the Word of God as well as seek counsel from many generations. But I agree with you that wisdom comes from years off experience. And in my following videos, I do address having compassion for the abuser, yet not tolerating poor behavior. There is wisdom to know the difference of compliance, tolerance and drawing the line. I pray that your heart has healed, or is continuing to heal. God bless.

      Thank you so much. Yes, I know that there are a variety of narcissist variants, but this type is definitely the worse of them all as its a combination of all variants. As stated in the video what makes it worse is the fact that they appear to be super sweet and kind, yet the victim often feels belittled and confused because of their two faced behavior. What I'll be covering are the 7 points I made in the video. Well discuss their identifying traits so people can verify if they are really contending with a CPAN; the cycles of behavior that often repeats like clock work; forgiving not forgetting; my biggest mistakes that I made to help others avoid; active ways to heal from the abuse; lessons that God taught me; and how to overcome reliving the bad memories as such abuse can leave you with PTSD symptoms.
